POCAAN programs include education, outreach, HIV prevention/awareness, criminal justice programs and health advocacy.

POCAAN is a multicultural, multi-social service agency serving marginalized communities in Seattle and greater King County. Originally focusing on HIV/AIDS prevention, the organization has grown and expanded with the understanding that related issues (e.g., substance abuse, incarceration, homelessness, sexually transmitted diseases, racism, sexism, and homophobia) also contribute to community marginalization and health disparities.
