Seattle Pride in the Park kicks off Seattle’s 50th annual Pride Month celebration on Saturday, June 1, at Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill.
For the first time ever, GenPride will host our “Legacy Lounge” at the event! This space is designed for older LGBTQ+ folks and those who love us. Come relax and have fun where we’ve celebrated pride for ages! From applications for Pride Place to Zumba, we’ll have everything you need for a fabulous time, including water, tasty snacks, blood screening tests, COVID tests, and more!
Event Details:
From 12 PM to 7 PM, enjoy a can’t-miss lineup of LGBTQIA+ performances, a dance-focused stage with an adjacent alcohol garden (21+), food trucks, local nonprofit booths, queer vendors, and more. This free event also includes family-friendly fare, including Drag Queen Storytime, and a teen space designed and hosted by youth in a collaborative internship between Seattle’s LGBTQ Center and Seattle Pride.
Accessibility accommodations such as priority seating, ASL interpreters, ADA restrooms, and designated assistants to support individuals in accessing food and beverages will be available.

Starting this June GenPride will be hosting a monthly lunch for BIPOC members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community who are 50 years old or better. This event is FREE for all BIPOC attending seniors.

We are seeking Trans, non-binary, and gender fluid individuals to come and let us help you showcase your best self.
