We’re Here, Together

GenPride is building an LGBTQIA+ senior community center on the ground floor of Pride Place. Our capital campaign seeks to raise $5,000,000 to support the purchase and build out of the 4,400 sq ft community space, the first of its kind in our community, and the first permanent home for GenPride’s mission.

Funds raised through the campaign will support construction of a brand-new community and health services center as well as a transitional fund to prepare the center for the future.

By supporting GenPride’s campaign, you can bring our community one step closer to having a place we can be our whole selves and celebrate our values, our history, and our pride.

GenPride is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

GenPride At Pride Place, between Pike and Pine, In the heart of Capitol Hill!

Working hand in hand with community organizations to serve the diverse needs of our LGBTQIA+ elders.

GenPride, in operation since 2016, is the first LGBTQIA+ senior-focused organization in Washington and will be the ground-floor anchor tenant at Pride Place. We have exciting plans to provide specialized programs and services to both the residents and others throughout King County. The multi-use community gathering space will serve meals, educational and fitness programs, and plenty of recreational events throughout the year including a health center onsite that will offer sensitive specialized services.

GenPride and Community Roots Housing are building Seattle's first affordable housing project designed to be an affirming environment for LGBTQIA+ seniors. The project will provide 118 apartments, with a mix of studios and 1-bedroom units - as well as a community and health services center
