We believe that everybody deserves a home. Since 1986, United Churches Emergency Fund has devoted its energy to passionately advocate for the prevention of homelessness.

UCEF was created in 1986 to provide information, referral and financial assistance to people in need residing in Northeast Seattle and to the homeless, without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status or disability.

PREVENTTION IS KEY! Our focus is to provide eviction protection to keep families and individuals from becoming homeless or to provide assistance to homeless families and individuals moving into housing.

We also offer the following items: ​

Bus tickets Snack packs Hygiene kits Clothing vouchers

All of these items can be received every other month.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE We can provide $150 of assistance with rent, utilities or move in costs to people living in the zipcodes of 98103, 98105, 98115 and 98125.

We can help once in a 12 month period and 3 times in a lifetime.

Please bring a current ID and a 6 month to one year lease or a current utility bill.

Please arrive between 10:30 and 12:15 to allow time for paperwork.
