Description:

The Seattle Counseling Service (SCS) is committed to providing accessible services to all of our community. We have continuously found innovative strategies to meet the behavioral health needs of our diverse and complex LGBTQ community.

Areas of focus include:

Consultation + training: SCS staff are experts in issues relating to the LGBTQ community and can also speak generally or specifically about mental health and/or chemical dependency.

Testing + sexual health: We partner with other community organizations to provide free, confidential testing that is open to all. We also offer safe sex supplies and safe sex kits.

Support groups: Support groups can help provide a place to discuss your feelings, share information, and connect with peers and other members of the LGBTQ community.

We offer a sliding fee scale in addition to accepting Medicaid and many insurance plans.
