It is the mission of the Pathways to Healing Program to honor traditional values and beliefs that promote safety and well-being for Native American/Alaska Native families by providing a holistic approach inform, educate and heal our communities affected by violence.

Mission

The mission of the Cowlitz Tribal Pathways to Healing Program is to honor traditional values and beliefs that promote safety and well being for Native American/Alaska Native families by providing a holistic approach to inform, educate and heal our communities affected by violence.

Eligibility

To be eligible you must be a Native American or Alaska Native (you do not have to be enrolled) who has experienced, or know someone who has experienced, domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence or stalking at any point in your life. Services are also available to clients of all other Health and Human Services Programs regardless of Native identity.

Services offered include: Information and Referrals Cultural Advocacy Community Outreach Emergency Services Safety Planning Legal Advocacy Outreach and Prevention Services Online Social Media Positive Youth Development Support to Secondary survivors/victims Table Events Training Transitional Housing Medical Advocacy

All services are confidential and available to women, children and men. While the Pathways to Healing Program recognizes that a person can be both a survivor and a perpetrator over the course of their life, the focus of participation in services must be exclusive to the effects of the victimization.
