NWRAD (Northwest Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf) promotes solidarity and equality for Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender, queer, and intersexual (LGBTQI) individuals by promoting educational and leadership opportunities and resource information; providing a support system using American Sign Language (ASL); encouraging unity and fellowship; and celebrating the diversity, history, and accomplishments with respect, dignity, and equality.

Resource agencies include Abused Deaf Women's Advocacy Services, Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf, Social58, Washington State Association of the Deaf, Southwest Washington Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Deaf Leather Fraternity, Deaf Lesbian Festival, International Deaf Leather, and ASL Films.
