Tech Lab Registration

Technology often changes quickly and it can be difficult to keep track of how to access much needed services and community connections that are important to you. Our tech assistance workshops and coaching with 'Dr. John' provides in-person assistance to navigate technology and learn digital skills in a safe and affirming environment. Participants can learn at their own pace while receiving help to meet their specific needs.

This program will empower participants to:

Safely navigate technology
Manage their health, finances, and housing
Stay connected to their communities

Workshops will begin Tuesday, March 21^st in-person at GenPride Center.

They will continue on the following dates: (April 18, May 9, May 23, June 6, June 20, June 27, July 11 (office closed July 4), July 18, August 1, August 15)

Who: You, or anyone needing technology assistance or coaching

What: Anything technology related to technology

When: Two Tuesdays a month: (April 18, May 9, May 23, June 6, June 20, June 27, July 11, July 18, August 1, August 15)

Where: GenPride office in Capitol Hill: 1620 12th Ave, #203

There are options for 60 minute appts between 11 am and 2:30 pm, then a tech lab for 'drop-ins' from 3 pm to 5 pm.

Note: there may be multiple people receiving help in the same room in the afternoon session; if you need 1:1 help or have sensitive information being discussed, please sign up for a 60 min appointment.

Masks will be mandatory for the in-person program.
