Description:
The Southeast Seattle Senior Center (SESSC), located in the Rainier Valley, offers activities designed to include all physical stages of aging, including exercise programs, computer classes, weaving and quilting classes, card clubs, line dance classes, Spanish classes, recreational trips, and much more. The B&B Diner, SESSC’s in-house eatery, serves hot meals five days a week. There is a peer-led group for lesbians. Trips, informational presentations on topics relevant to older adults, lunch at a reduced rate, a social worker, and foot care and massage are also available.
SESSC is a member of the Rainier Chamber of Commerce and the Seattle Rainier Lions Club.
