Volunteer Services

Volunteer Services is a program of Catholic Community Services committed to providing in-home chore assistance to elders and adults with disabilities, helping them to remain in their own home for as long as safely possible.

Who qualifies for Volunteer Services?
Volunteer Services uses the following criteria to prioritize services:

  • Age 65 or older, or 18 years of age and living with a functional disability (including temporary disabilities).
  • Live independently in your own residence.
  • Monthly income of around $1,000 per month or less for a single-person household, and $1,500 or less for a couple.*

*VS does not have strict financial criteria — its purpose

We help create members who advocate for and educate themselves around memorial and end-of-life planning. Since 1939, we have been the thought-leader for funeral choice, education, and advocacy in Washington State.

PMA also offers a Document Storage Service to hold digital copies of funeral planning paperwork in response to requests made by members. For a one-time fee of $25 per member, PMA will scan and hold as many of your funeral documents as necessary for access by the funeral home …

We believe that everybody deserves a home. Since 1986, United Churches Emergency Fund has devoted its energy to passionately advocate for the prevention of homelessness.

UCEF was created in 1986 to provide information, referral and financial assistance to people in need residing in Northeast Seattle and to the homeless, without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status or disability.

PREVENTTION IS KEY! Our focus is to provide eviction protection to keep families and individuals from becoming homeless or to provide assistance to homeless families and individuals moving into housing.

Seattle Prime Timers is a social and outreach organization for gay men over forty that supports other gay groups while fostering camaraderie between its members and the broader community.

Membership dues:
$35.00 annually with hard copy monthly newsletters mailed to member’s address.
$25.00 annually with online-accessed newsletters.

Dues renew January of each year and are pro-rated on a quarterly basis for those joining during the year.
