We Listen to LGBTQIA+ Midlife & Older Adults and We Are Inspired by Their Stories & What They Tell Us: 


Feeling stressed and stuck, Shelley, a 65 yo lesbian, needed resources and no/low cost services to care for her ailing 74 y/o partner. We connected her and she now receives respite and other support services.

GenPride, a nonprofit organization, develops multigenerational solutions to the challenges facing LGBTQ midlife and older adults. GenPRIDE assesses needs and designs trainings and services for LGBTQ people, their families and communities. 

Utilizing and based on important research findings from Caring and Aging with Pride and Aging with Pride, (projects of the UW School of Social Work). 

Funded in part by the City of Seattle, GenPRIDE partners with local organizations to create evidence-based programs that help reduce isolation, enhance belonging and support, eliminate discrimination, and honor the lives of older members of our community

Aleksa Manila

Drug counselor by day, drag diva by night. Aleksa Manila is a celebrated and respected drag personality. Originally from Manila, Philippines, she now calls Seattle, Washington home.

Sanctuary at Admiral is a historic wedding venue located in Seattle, Washington. Situated less than 10 minutes from downtown, this vintage-style venue offers both indoor and outdoor settings for your big day. It was originally built in 1929 as a church, but has been restored into a dramatic special events facility. Sanctuary at Admiral is an art deco-style building that can’t wait to bring your vision for your wedding to life.
